  1. After skimming a spoiler-ridden review on sfgate... (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2010/10/31/RV9T1FVR5I.DTL)I tried to ignore the details and pre-ordered "Mary Ann in Autumn" on Halloween evening.

I received it from Amazon last night (November 2nd) when I came home late from work.

*cough* *cough* I'm calling in sick this morning and spending all day "resting."

  2. Great interview, although I'm glad I didn't hear it until after I had read the book since the interviewer made a lot of references to specific events in the book. But I loved the book so much that I wanted to sit down and talk with Armistead. This interview was the closest thing I could get to taking him out to dinner and bending his ear with all my questions.

Reading a new Tales story is like Christmas. You get to visit your childhood home and family and you get that special feeling in your heart that so few things in life provide.

Yes that sounds corny. That's how I feel.

  3. I went back and flipped through Sure of You and found the seed Armistead mentions having planted in this interview. Score!
